Stevens Foundation
A New Foundation—A New Day of Relationship Building and Fundraising
Stevens Foundation is dedicated to helping meet the needs of the community, Stevens Hospital and all of the people who are associated with the institution, including patients, physicians, staff and community members. Established in 2006, the Foundation’s mission is to help the hospital serve and save lives in south Snohomish County.
Why should you help?
Every dollar you commit to the Stevens Foundation is invested in caring for you and your neighbors. Specifically, here are three examples of how your money can now work for you and Stevens:
- Did you realize that Stevens Hospital provides more than $4 million annually to provide care for patients who are unable to pay? In other words, patients who have no insurance or insufficient insurance to cover their costs are not turned away. Stevens Foundation is committed to helping meet this financial challenge.
- The emergency department—front door to the hospital and vital to the well-being of the community—will be undergoing significant renovation, and technology and system updates. Time can be everything in an emergency, and Stevens is committed to providing excellent emergency care close to home.
- As is true with any hospital that is 40 or 50 years old, making more-than-cosmetic changes at Stevens is vital to serving you. With your help, Stevens Foundation will play an important role in ensuring that in the future the hospital is better able to respond to the broad needs of all of our
stakeholders. This means you!
Ways you can help

- Donations: Stevens Hospital is here to serve its neighbors and families with exceptional care close to home. Every gift to the Stevens Foundation makes a difference that directly benefits our Hospital and all of our patients, families, staff, and physicians. Donate now.
- Sharing your experiences and memories: Stevens is celebrating its forty-fifth year anniversary in 2009.
